AFTER CONSTRUCTION

I show you pictures of the construction held in the beginning of this month.
They remove the long beams and put new one.

今月頭にやっていただいた,梁の工事の写真を載せます.

The problem is that white ants have eaten the beam for a long time.
Almost whole beam is eaten, so it is now very weak towards strong load.
We can't help feeling scared to create new room over the beam.

シロアリが長年にわたり食い荒らして来た梁はスカスカで,
新設する部屋の荷重に耐えられるか心配でした.

After jacking up Every pillar and the ex-beam was load-free,
carpenter cut the beam with a chain saw.

全ての柱はジャッキアップされ,梁に荷重が掛からないようにしてから
チェーンソーで切って取り除いてもらいました.

Mr. Maniwa did this construction.
He is familiar to us because he did last construction;the south side wall construction.
And he is the person who attended our first meal in this house!
He gave us much advice also in this time. Thank you.

今回の工事も真庭さんにやっていただきました.
真庭さんには以前の外壁工事の際,
僕らの記念すべき初めての食事をご一緒していただいたのですが,
今回も来て頂いてアドバイス頂きました.

2nd floors door is left by this construction.
It's no longer meaningless. I like this.

2階のドアがこの工事でとり残されてトマソンに.
こういうの好きです.
ぼくは梁を伝ってこのドアの向こうの寝室にいかなければならないので,
いまだにこのドア使ってます.

Ex-beam cut out.
This is made of pine.
White ants ate only soft part, and hard part is left.
It's interesting.
Ants sculpture.(of course we are angry with ants.)
They may possibly left the hard part of lumber
because they didn't want to be smashed by their food.

切り落としたマツの梁は,中心の赤身は固くて食べられなかったのか,
外側の白身だけ綺麗に食われていました.
アリはウザイですが彫刻のようでした.
もしかしたらアリは自分のえさに押しつぶされないように,
構造計算しながら食べてるんじゃないかという話もしたね.

丸いごろん棒の梁から新しい角材の梁に.

In the kitchen, our new member Janka, wife of Gergo, was join!!!
And Mr.Maniwa constructing in the next frame.
I like this kind of framing in this house.

ゲルグの奥さんのヤンカが家族に加わりました！
隣合うフレームで工事と家事が行われる.

We make blackboard to share information of this house.

情報共有の為の黒板を新設しました.手作りだよ！
