掘りごたつのある部屋の床

yassiです.院試のため更新が滞りましたが,無事終わりました.

It has been a long time since I wrote last news.

We have created floor of the room which has a sunken kotatsu.
この一週間,掘りごたつのある四畳半の部屋の床を作っていました.

There were warps in each joists for floor.
So we made them flat.
すべての根太が歪んでいたのでまずはジャッキアップで高さを揃えました.

I removed the surface earth because it smells bad. (because of cat's pee or mold)
Janka was making the wall in the next room.
猫のオシッコか、カビの臭いのする（くさい！）土の表面を取り除きます.
奥の部屋ではヤンカが土壁を塗っています.また今度記事を書きます.

Gergo taught me how to use tools of carpentry and I made progress.
ゲルグ先生の道具の使い方講座で上達しました.

We insulated Kotatsu.
こたつの周りにスタイロフォーム（断熱材）を囲い冬対策.

Original span of the joists were too long, so we had to add new one.
Victor is helping us everyday.
根太のスパンが長いので,既存の根太の間に追加する.
ビクトーが手伝ってくれました.

This is a protection for cats not to enter under the floor.
猫が床下に入れないようにするやつもつくりました.

We test how insulation works during winter.
Scattered slaked lime for smell.
余った断熱材を床の一部に入れて,暖かさにどれだけ違いが出るか実験.
地面には石灰を撒いて臭い対策.

Putting the wood slab on the joists.
We plan to put tatami here, so I kept some depth for tatami.
フローリングを貼る.
この上に畳が乗るので鴨居より畳一枚分低く作った.

I will introduce Gergo's work. He has been making walls with Janka using earth for a long time.
