Closing the Doma. Part 2 : Fantastic Plastic Machine 土間内部化２

Second part of the work was to build a wooden frame that would sandwich the vinyl sheet.

続いての仕事はビニールを貼るための木の枠をつくることです。

A secondary pillar is added on an existing foundation stone.
This is mainly for the size of roll of vinyl. They sell it with 1,100 mm range.

既存の柱とは別に、二次的な半柱（タテ部材）を据える。
プロポーションの問題もあるが、主にビニールの幅から決まっている部分もある。
110cm幅でロールでビニールを購入したので。

The inner part of the frame is fixed on the structure.

この枠の内側部分は、構造である柱に予め設置。

Then the plastic is made flat on the ground and stapled to the inner part of the frame.
The outer part is then screwed to the inner part, and the vinyl sheet is put in tension.

そして、ビニールを内側のフレームにタッカーで留められ、ピンと貼られる。
フレームの外側は、ビニールを留めた内側のフレームにビス留めしてゆく。
こうしてピンと貼ったビニールによる開口ができあがる。

Last part was to realize a hanging door using the same sandwiched vinyl technique

今回は紆余曲折の設計変更の後、大きな器具が通り抜けられる大きな吊り戸をつけることで決着した。
学祭でもらった2×4の部材で、同じくビニールを挟み込んだもの。

And the final result !
