Yassi のヅリムランド Part 1 : Setting up the wall　（タイトルは原作者のオリジナル性を尊重しておりますby yassi）

First article on a series on Yassi's room, I'll detail today the first stage of how the floor and wall on the future dry garden was realized.
If you remember well this was pretty much how we left Yasushi's room after finishing the façade wall.

The idea was to realize the missing structure that was removed because some parts were rotten.
The structure of traditional japanese houses consists in numbers of key pillars that are set up on foundation stones. At the opposite to nowadays houses set up on concrete foudation, this "lite" way of setting the house on the ground - rather than anchoring it, gives traditional houses their flexibility and enables them to move freely in case of earthquakes.

そもそもこの部屋を改修することの経緯としては、梁のいくつかが腐っていた為、取り除く必要があったためです。
日本の伝統建築の構造は、基礎石に据えられたいくつかの重要な柱からなります。昨今のコンクリートの基礎の上に成り立つ建築と対象的に、地面と固定されるのではないこの「手軽」な家の建て方によって可能となる柔軟さが、地震の際に自由に動き揺れを逃がすことになります。
